Duplicate Translation

These steps do not apply to newer devices

TransBuds C2, TransMic M3, and TransBuds O2 are not affected by the phone sound-effect or Dimensity chipset compatibility issues described below. Do not change these phone settings when using any of these three devices.

Use the following checks only when duplicate translation occurs with an older device.

Solution for Mobile Sound Effects

Disable Dolby or immersive sound, or switch the phone to its standard sound mode.

Chipset-Specific Issue

With some older devices, phones using certain Dimensity chipsets may repeat translated audio during cellular calls. Internet voice calls are generally unaffected.

• In the playback settings, disable translation playback for the other party to view only the translated text.
